I am a foreign vehicle made today, based entirely upon an American vehicle that was in production for only three years. I was originally a 3.8 6-cylinder, but it was too unreliable. I’ll give you a penny for your thoughts but five quarters for this vehicle. What am I?

A newer Lancia? they are based upon American cars like the 300 and the Town and Country. But im not sure on the engine and reliability... This is a tough one.
My other thought was a Opel Cascada / Buick something ?

Well, I’m stumped, given the first 3.8 V6s that come to mind are stone dead reliable for the most part.
Given that the V6 Chrysler 3.8 isn’t bad either... of course, I notice your thing doesn’t actually say “V”.

He also says that it was unreliable, quickly discounting the Buick 3800.

I was basing the unreliability off the 2009 recalls for basically everything with that engine
